Intern with Manos Unidas!


Manos Unidas a multicultural, grassroots community empowerment organization based in Pittsfield that works alongside Latino immigrant and under-heard community members as well as with the wider Berkshire community through shared resources, participatory education, and living arts. They aim to construct a culture of community that crosses borders of class, race, culture and geography.

Internships with Manos Unidas can be completed for credit through the Extended Campus Program. By working with Manos Unidas, you will be able to:

-Experience hands-on work concerning immigrant rights, community building, and cultural diversity

-Use or learn skills such as social organizing, media, art, photography, cooking, dance, and compiling data

-Improve your Spanish-speaking skills

-Organize and attend rallies and marches, local and out-of-state conferences, workshops, and community events.
